Within the competitive landscape dominated by prominent names from other states in tour operations, GnS Leisure Travels Pvt Ltd, Kochi, stands out as a pioneering force in outbound tourism in Kerala. Ms. Nalina Pothuval took the initiative to promote international tourism in Kerala as early as 1990, a time when outbound tourism from the state was in its infancy.
Under the able stewardship of Ms. Nalina Pothuval, (formerly, General Manager for SOTC, India) GnS Leisure Travels Pvt Ltd has been a significant player in outbound tourism for almost two decades. GNS has organized numerous trips to various countries, guiding and curating experiences for thousands of travellers. A noteworthy achievement was leading a group of 110 passengers on the inaugural SilkAir flight from Kochi, marking the beginning of the success.

In 2007, GNS led, for the first time in Kerala, a group of 72 Rotarians to USA followed by many other groups like World Malayalee Council, Y’s Men Club and many other corporate groups to different continents. A notable patron of GnS, Mr. Santhosh George Kulangara of SAFARI TV / SANCHARAM fame had his early 13 years back experiences in overseas travel through tours and travel arrangements organized by GnS Leisure Travels Pvt Ltd. Mrs. Nalina Pothuval and Mr. Santhosh George Kulangara can rightfully take pride in contributing to the growth of the outbound tourism industry in the state.
